"Hi I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax to the Max Massage Therapy and today we are going to be talking about how to give a hand massage. Whenever you are working with somebody's hand what you want to do is kind of squeeze and massage the hand altogether, the area right in here especially between the thumb and the forefinger is really needed for massage on a lot of people. You want to work that area there and it is also a very good headache point if you will press this part right here on somebody when they have a headache that can help dissipate a headache on people except you don't want to do that on somebody that is pregnant and then what you want to do is bring your thumbs through the tendons of the fingers, massage that area in there and then you can pull out on each finger and massage each finger all the way to the finger tip. You can do that with two fingers like I'm doing it or you can use your thumb and fingers like this. Either way it feels really good. It depends on if you are a therapist and you are trying to save your thumbs or if you are just a friend working on a friend and you don't have to worry about that too much. Also turn the palm and do a little knuckle action on there and open that hand up some, stretch the fingers back and then just work on that hand a little bit more and get in that area between the thumb and fingers and massage that and that's how we do a hand massage."
