When you are trying to sell your home or trying to buy a home my first recommendation is to hire a real estate agent to help you. That real estate agent knows the appraisers in the area and also can come out and tell you what things have sold in your neighborhood that are comparable to your properties. They also can make arrangements for an appraisal to be done on your home. My recommendation on how to get a home appraised is to call a real estate agent in your area and let them know what your goals are and what your needs are and they can help you certainly to find the right appraiser to do the appraisal on your property.
