First and foremost, if your home is under contract, going to be sold, and you want to make sure that the appraisal comes in good, clean the house. Make that house shine just as pretty as it could possibly shine. Make sure the lights are all on inside the house, make sure the windows are all open, the house smells fresh and clean. Remove all animals from the house. No animals inside the house. Put a little bit of cinnamon and vanilla on a paper towel, and worm that paper towel in the microwave. Let the smell fill the house. It's a great, homey type of feeling, and a good homey type of smell. Make sure the exterior of the house is very clean, very well manicured, very well taken care of. If you want to get the highest possible value for your home, make it look like it's worth the...as much as you're wanting it to get. Make sure your carpets are clean, make sure the dusts have been done, make sure there's nothing out of place. Make it look like a picture showcase in a magazine.
