"Hello my name is Penny Smith and I'm a North Carolina real estate broker. The topic today is how to find cheap apartments. I highly recommend that you use the internet to do your, start your searching. You could also through the internet, look at Craigslist. Those are individuals that are looking to rent their properties whether it be apartments or condos, or even houses. And on Craigslist they don't have to pay a property manager to find that for them. Property management is typically paid a percentage of the rent. And that percentage is added on to the rent to cover it. So I would go outside of the box, outside of the real estate company to find a cheap apartment that is for rent. And I would go to the internet for that. And as always be sure to read your leases and to know that it is a legal and binding contract. No matter who it's with it is legal and binding. So be careful how you sign and what you sign, that you've read it carefully. Even if it is cheap, sometimes it might not be the best deal. Thank you and I hope you have a good day."
