"Hello my name is Penny Smith, and I'm a North Carolina Real Estate Broker. Today I'd like to talk to you about how to get a land contract. If you are selling the land yourself I highly recommend that you hire a real estate agent to sell that property for you. Property sells a lot faster through a real estate agent because of the advertising that they do, and because if someone doesn't know the property is for sale they're certainly not going to find it. Through advertising that real estate agent can help you. If you're looking for land to buy it's almost impossible to find a piece of land to buy. I highly recommend that you go through a real estate agent that can find that piece of property for you in the right location that you want to live in; and go take a look at it. They can help you with the contract because they're very specific contracts that would protect you as the buyer such as having a perk test knowing what the flood zone is on that property, and to go about meeting the requirements for getting a mortgage for a piece of land so that you build your "American Dream" on it; your home. I highly recommend a real estate agent when purchasing or selling a piece of land. That is how to get a land contract. Thank you and I hope you have a good day."
