A wine snob is someone that merely knows far more than you when it comes to wine? Knowledge equals snobbery? Do I sense insecurity here? No need to feel that way. NO. A wine snob is someone that uses the knowledge of wine to make others feel inferior so as to appear superior to those knowing less about the subject. A wine lover, on the other hand, is one that knows much about wine and hopes that you too will want to know more about the subject.
