"You have a good idea and you want to be sure that you can protect it, so you want to know how do I patent this. Hello I am Robert Todd and I am here to answer the question, how to register a patent. Good ideas, are of course, every bit as valuable as pieces of machinery, but knowing how to protect those good ideas may be just as valuable. When it comes to patents, this is a very specialized area of the law, and you may want to check the website for the United States Patent and Trademark office, and navigate through that website to see if you understand the terms, the procedures, and what they require to register patents. If you are not comfortable after doing that, strongly consider that you hire an expert that deals with patents. If they are a patent attorney that is certified by the United States Patent and Trademark office, you can at least be assured they know of what they are doing. I am Robert Todd, and thank you for watching."
