"Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm hear to discuss how to style short, curly hair. Naturally, curly hair is a little bit more dehydrated than natural hair than other hair textures. It's a little drier, it tends to get a little bit frizzier. Luckily there are lines that you can actually get that are dedicated towards curly hair. There are products that go towards hydrating that curl and defining that curl so that way you don't have to worry about the bit of the drier hair texture. Curling creams are really great in order to kind of help. They add definition they're a bit of a medium hold and they're a little bit lighter on your hair. Gel which is your highest hold, is also sometimes can give you that bit of that crunchy look. Creams do a very good job at defining the curl and smoothing your hair without having that, with that soft feel when you do actually touch it. Another good thing to do is to spray foams, they are a little lighter but, they will kind of help pick that curl up and add a little bit more of a bounce to the hair. That is your softest hold or that's more or less for finer hair that has a bit of a curl in it. Another good product actually for curly hair is a tasseled wave spray. And it's actually a spray that has sea salt in it. Everybody knows how much they love beach hair and the tasseled wave spray actually brings those sea salts home to you into your bathroom. You would simply as your hair is dry, you would simply spray the tasseled wave spray into your hair and scrunch it. The scrunching and the sea salt is going to help kind of kick your curl up and make it give it more of a spring to it. When drying it, you can either let it dry naturally or you can use a diffuser which you can buy in any store. It is an attachment to go on your blow dryer and it looks like it has little fingers. Another good way to do it is actually to use your hands with your blow dryer on low and shield the air from directly hitting your hair which that will avoid frizz. And that is how to style very short curly hair."
