"Hi my name is Lauren and I'm going to be discussing how to style gray hair. Because of the color of gray hair and it being very light, it is very easy for you to see lines within a hair cut. The styling is going to begin when you go to your local salon, or stylist and get your hair actually cut. When you are to cut gray hair, you are to use either a regular shears and cut into the hair in order to prevent there from being a straight cut line. Lighter hair tends to show all lines and that way it will look a little bit more choppy. If you cut into them, all of the hair will diffuse into itself and you will be, not see any lines which will make the hair look a little bit more flowing and a little bit better. Another way to do it is by using these thinning shears or notching shears which will actually cut certain parts or pieces out of the hair, but leave the rest. That will also diffuse that line. Gray hair tends to, once it's actually styled you can blow your hair back and blow it dry and then you can use a bit of a lighter product depending on whether your hair if fine or coarse. If your hair is fine, you want to use something a little bit lighter, if it's coarse you want to use something that's a little bit heavier just for a little bit more hold. And you can just simply put it in your hands and put it in, smooth it. For gray hair what is essential for styling and for it to look nice is the actual, it happens during your hair cut and it's the actual styling of it. And that is how to style gray hair."
