"Hi, my name is Lauren, and I'm going to discuss, how to use hot rollers. Hot rollers usually come in a packet, such as this. It's usually a case that they all stand in. Some of them you add water, and the water actually heats them up through steam, and others are just put on a metal grate, which actually heats them up. After you plug them in, you're going to let them heat. You can actually feel the case, in order to make sure that they're hot. When you want to start, you're going to actually section your hair. You do not want to take a diameter, the section that's bigger than the diameter, of the rod that you're going to use, so you just section this out, so if you look at the size of the section, I'm going to be using this rod, which is about the same as the size of the section. Now, depending on the style that I like to do, I can either roll my hot roller back, and then secure it. Usually, hot rollers come with their own clips, in order to clip them in, and secure them, so I'm going to roll away from the face, for these. Now again, because of the length of the hair, you also want to use something that's a little bit smaller, so that way, it actually gets a bend. If you were to use one of the larger ones, you wouldn't get much of a bend, on the shorter pieces of hair. They would pretty much just be straight, and then you clip them in. Once you set the entire head, with all of your hot rollers in it, and using the varying sizes, you allow them to set and cool, for probably, about a good, maybe ten minutes. Then, you can remove all of your hot rollers, and you will have a new look, with lots of volume, and a little bit of a curl, and that is how to style, with hot rollers."
