How to Locate a Company

"Hi, I'm Tod Amazeen. I've been an Internet business consultant for 15 years. I'm going to show you how to locate a company. The easiest way to locate a company online is to use a mapping website, like MapQuest or Google Maps. My favorite is Google Maps, so we'll go to maps.google.com, and hit enter. Now we're going to put our cursor in the text entry box. And we'll type in the name of the company that we're searching for. In my case, I want to find a party supply store. So I'm going to type in party supply store and click on search maps. You'll see Google gives us results and they happen to be in the geographical center of the country. Now, if you want to find a party supply store near you, simply go back into the text entry box and at the end of "party supply store," add "in" whatever town or city you're in, and hit search maps again. Now you'll see you have local results. They're listed on the left with a letter to the left of them, and you'll see on the map there's a corresponding letter. You click on the letter on the map. Google Maps gives you an address, a phone number, and a website if available. You've just learned how to locate a company. I'm Tod Amazeen."
