"Hi, I'm Laura, from youngwritersworkshops.com, and I'm going to talk about finding an, how to find an out-of-print book. You have so many tools available to you to find an out-of-print book now that weren't available just a short time ago, so it's a really different experience trying to find something that's out-of-print, that has is no longer a a huge challenge because of technology. So, I always start with a Google search, because you might go directly to someone's site who's selling the book that you're looking for, either through you know, a a bookseller like Amazon or eBay, or on eBay, or just a small vendor who has their own online store. So, start with a Google search. Type in the name of the publication. You may get lucky and save yourself a lot of time just by finding it directly that way. You can also go to a a couple sites that specialize in out-of-print books, alibris and Abe is the other one. Amazon.com, which is a bookseller also may be helpful, because even if the book is out of print they have, they they sell used books, and a lot of times sellers are selling an out-of-print book through, directly through the amazon bookstore. So, those three sites, alibris, amazon, and Abe might end up being the place where you find your out-of-print book. If you've exhausted those methods, or if you just want to try something different there are most likely some used bookstores in your area. Try you know, using the yellow pages to find a used bookstore nearby, and you may be able to find the out-of-print book in a used bookstore. And then, of course there's eBay if you haven't been lucky in any other format through, you may just try putting your request into eBay, and when it becomes available, or amazon, you may get an alert letting you know that the book is now available. So, using the online format you can try amazon, eBay, alibris books, and either searching for it or setting your request, or go to used bookstores in your area, and good luck finding an out-of-print book."
