Hi I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to join a science fiction book club. There are a couple different types of science fiction book clubs. There are science fiction book clubs that you can join and by joining this club you'll receive a substantial discount on books that you buy. Now this is something that you can do easily on line going to the site of the science fiction book club and by joining this club you'll receive a substantial discount on books that you buy. Now this is something that you can do easily on line, going to the site of the science fiction book club and you'll be able to look at what the terms of your membership are and join on line. Normally the way it works is you get a certain number of books for a really low price for example 99 cents for four science fiction books and then you have a commitment where you must buy a certain number of books over a two year period. Normally they'll send you by either by mail or e-mail they'll send you a catalog and you can choose your remaining books from that catalog and of course you can buy more and normally at a discounted price but you have a commitment where you have to buy a certain number of science fiction books. The other kind of science fiction book club would be a reading club where you would find a group of people who enjoy science fiction and join a club where you would meet on a regular basis either on line or in person to talk about books and choose one book that you would read together and then meet to discuss it. Joining that type of science fiction book club is also possible on line by searching for a book club that is already up and running or even going through science fiction fan's sites that might have local in person book clubs available. So your best resource for that would be searching on line also. So those are some ways to join a science fiction book club.
