"Hi I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshop.com and I'm going to talk about how to make money writing. Becoming a writer who actually gets paid to write is a goal for a lot of people and I usually tell people to start small and really get some experience to gather your clips. You might actually need to start by writing not for money, writing for publications that don't pay or pay for copies and that give you a byline or give you some publications that you have, show when you are trying to find some writing that is paid. So start by finding publications that will print your work for no fee and then work your way into paying markets by having some of that experience. Some of the good ways to find paying jobs are on line. For example Craig's List is a good way to find work for paying writers. It might not pay a lot but it is some work that as you are a working writer and have projects that you can reuse you can begin to make money by having some articles that you have written and being able to reuse them if you retain the rights to them so having some already written work that you can sell and resell is one way to make money. Writing for blogs, some blog writing assignments pay, finding on line publications that hire writers and also self publishing your book and selling it are all ways that you can begin to make money writing."
