"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I want to talk about how to sell old books because as you know, if you like to read and I assume you do if you like to write, then you probably have a lot of old books around. And it's not such a tough thing to sell some of them. So here, let's talk about some of the ways you can do this. Amazon.com has a great tool for selling old books. You basically go to the page for the book that you'd like to sell and click on "sell your's here" you just have to list some specifics about it, what kind of shape it's in, what price you're asking for it, and it's pretty simple. I think your book remains listed for about thirty days and in that time if someone buys it you'll get an email and it's your job to ship the book to the purchaser. The payment goes directly into your account. So that's one really easy way to do it. Unfortunately, you might not get top price that way, but it's an easy way to do it. Another thing to consider might be another online marketplace such as EBay or even Craigslist listing your books for sale and conducting business through email about selling them. There are non-electronic ways to sell your books. You can go to a local used book store or a national chain such as Half Price Books accepts used books and will pay for them. You can also consider having a garage sale or book sale in your yard, publicizing it in various ways, a newspaper ad, or an ad on Craigslist. You've got a lot of possibilities for selling old books but those are some ideas."
