"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to publish greeting card. Greeting card writing is pretty competitive but also at the same time, there are a lot of publishers that accept freelance submissions. I'd say there are at least 30. Now, if you identify a publisher that matches your approach, it's always a good idea to contact that publisher and make sure, find out what their status is. If they're accepting submissions currently, get a little bit more information about what they'd really like to see right now, what they're looking for. You know, that's where your research really comes in, finding a publisher that matches your approach is the key to success as a freelance greeting card publisher. There are many other options for self-publishing in greeting cards and doing a little bit of research about how you could create your line of cards might end up being an easier path to publication. It will take a little bit of an investment up front. You would have to basically purchase the cards and then market them yourself. But if you're really determined to publish your line of greeting cards, self-publication is also an alternate root. So, just to wrap it up, a couple ways to publish a greeting card include researching the publishers who are accepting freelance submissions and submitting your verse or finding out a little bit more about self-publication and creating your own line of greeting cards."
