"Hi I'm Laura from young writers workshop dot com and I'm going to talk about how to publish a coloring book. Coloring books are generally considered children's writing. And so the children's writers market is a great place to look to learn a little bit more about what publishers are looking for, coloring book manuscripts or art. And in the children's writers market you are going to look under greeting cards and publishers, puzzle publishers that would be the best place to find someone who is looking for coloring book manuscript. Now along with researching the children's writers market you should probably take a look at the shelves, look for some books, some coloring books that are already on the shelves at bookstores that are published, that are similar to yours. Or match your approach. Look at some of the publishers that are doing work similar to yours. And then see if you can find out a little bit more about them. The internet is a great cool for research too and you'll find a couple of different sites with, that are specific to information about publishing a coloring book. A couple of the main publishers of coloring books are Dover publications, that's actually the ultimate coloring book publisher but you'll find several more. Now if you are going to approach a publisher you'll want to follow their guidelines using a query or submitting a whole manuscript and an alternate path to publishing a coloring book is self publishing and you'll find several sites online including Lulu dot com where you can publish your own book, it just there's some money upfront and then you sell your book online or in other outlets. So those are a few approaches to how to publish a coloring book."
