"Hi, I'm Laura from YoungWritersWorskshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to write a novel in thirty days, which sounds completely ridiculous and impossible but there's a whole group dedicated to just that, writing a novel in thirty days. It's called National Novel Writing month and it goes by NaNoWriMo for short. A National Novel Writers month is a month when people come together and sort of pledge to get this task done in thirty days. The steps that they outline or some of the strategies that they use include committing to write a certain amount of time, add a certain time each day, stepping back, making a plan, knowing that if this finished novel is the goal, how am I going to break it up into thirty manageable pieces? Something extra that I'd use include talking with your family, letting everyone know you're going to be really busy for a month so people can rally around and support you, keep you fed and keep everything going in your absence, while you're working on your novel. You want to just really rise to the challenge if you do intend to write a novel in thirty days you really have to embrace the challenge and really throw yourself into it. Writing is one of the easiest things to put off so taking this on, rising to this challenge, might be just what you need to stop procrastinating and really do it. For some writers, writing a novel in thirty days is a great challenge to step up to and one that results in a finished novel."
