"Hi, I'm Laura from Young Writers Workshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to write a thank you note after being a house guest. If someone's extended an invitation to you to spend time at their house and you've spent some time with them, it's really important to follow up with a thank you note. Start your thank you note by saying Dear and the name of the person, open with a little bit of expression of gratitude for your friendship with this person, or whatever your relationship is. Express how grateful you are to have them as a friend or acquaintance. In the next paragraph you'll want to describe how much you appreciated their hospitality and how much you enjoyed the time that you spent at their house. In close, again, by summarizing how grateful you are to have them in your life and for the hospitality that they've offered. Close with a concluding statement, such as, sincerely, or your friend, or love with a comma and your name. Those are some steps to writing a thank you note after being a house guest."
