"Hi, I'm Gloria Campbell, President of Advances Training Systems, Inc., located in St. Petersburg, Florida. You filled out that application and now they're calling to tell you, you got an interview. But you don't want to go. What do you do? I'm going to give you some ideas and suggestions on how to decline that job interview and maybe kind of keep yourself in good graces with the company. Why do you want to do that? Because, you never know when you may have to go back to that company again. Or you never know what that supervisor or manager may end up. So make sure that if you get that call for an interview and you don't want to go, decline graciously. Let that person who's calling know that, it's either not a good time, you maybe accepted another offer. Maybe at this point you were looking to move, to change jobs, you're company is, did something, you're in the middle of a big project, it's just not a good time. But you want them to make sure that they keep your name and your number on file. Again in today's economy, you never know when you may have to go back and see that manager, that company or apply for that job again. End on a good note, it always serves well. This is Gloria Campbell with Advances Training Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. Declining the job interview graciously gets you a second chance if you need it. Thanks again."
