"Hello, I'm Mark Bowers from bowersphotography.com in Utah, and in this segment we're talking about photography lighting on location. The most useful is this little mushroom umbrella that I take with me, and it's got a flash in it. I'll measure the light that's on the location and then match the light with the flash that's inside this. The most useful thing is it can take a little bit of wind and it doesn't tip over because it's closed on the back and the front. When they invented the umbrella, the umbrella will spin around, catch the wind and fall over and break your lights, but this is much more stable and that's why I use it so much. Also, we use a lot of reflectors. Silver side, white side, I usually have an assistant or someone holding a reflectors to add a little bit of light. Here we have a bride standing in front of some pillars and I used mostly natural light with some auxiliary reflectors to paint a little bit more light on her face. Here's another bride inside of some arches, where we've also used some light coming through the arches to light her face. The most important part is lighting the person's face and still getting a nice overall light on the arches and the architecture."
