"That's what I look like in space. Hi I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert. One of the coolest functions about the iphone is the fact that there is a GPS built right into it. Now that's the iphone 3G if you've got the older models it is using wifi and cellular triangulations, six to one and a half dozen of another, for the point of this particular clip. But I'm going to show you how to change and manipulate the map views to give you the best information possible. Let me show you how that is done. We hit the home button, slide to unlock it. We are going to choose maps which is conveniently, it looks like a little map, right over here and I have got little map set up here once it finishes downloading, from our studio location here in Central Florida all the way up to one in Infinity Loop in California with the home of Apple. So we are seeing this as a standard type of graphical map type of deal and so it is an outline and we have got the different things in the states but I want to see this as a more usable view. What we are going to do here is in the bottom right hand corner you are going to see a little peeling page type of deal, well when you touch it you see this pinging right here that lets us know exactly where we are right now, ping, it's got a good signal, we're going to hit this and then the map is going to peel right up. Now we are looking behind the map and you can choose from the map, a satellite, what it looks like from space, a hybrid which is both listed or if we are actually doing driving directions we can see it as a list. So let's take a look at it as a satellite view. This is very, very, very cool. This is what it looks like from space, we're going to peel it back once again and we are going to do the hybrid which is one of my favorites because it is one of the best of both worlds so we can see the different state breakdowns rather and we can still see the different typographical information by the colors on the satellite. Now of course with the map you get to, you can manipulate it by zooming in and moving it around and doing different things but changing the view, simply clearing the corner, choosing your favorite one and you're ready to go. Changing the views can either be a neat thing what does this look like from space, Disneyland, the top of the White House whatever you might be interested in or driving directions. Sometimes the clean view of the graphical map can be a little uncluttered or if things get a little crazy which fork in the road am I supposed to take? You can take a peek at it from a satellite. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying stream ya later."
