"Why are there stars in the sky? Why do people get divorced? Oh, my. This is Dr. Paul, author of Boomer Girls, a boomer woman's guide to men and dating, and host of Ask Dr. Paul. As many stars as there are in the universe, that happens to be the number that you can align, with reasons for why people get divorced. You wouldn't believe some of them. Believe me, I've heard, I think I've heard it all, but maybe not. Because of the way in which they disagreed about remodeling the house. I had a female attorney on, who told me that she had the most ridiculous case ever, because they disagreed so much, on a major remodeling of the house, and he wanted to do the work, and she did not want him to do the work, that they got divorced. The reasons why people get divorced, are myriad, and frankly, not worth it, because it costs you money, and it costs you money big time. Of course, it happens to be child care. Of course, it happens to be finance. Of course, it happens to be a difference of opinion in sexuality. Maybe one person has a preference that the other doesn't have, so there are a myriad of reasons, so your reason that you may have for getting divorced, probably isn't original with you.
