"When you're a baby and you started walking, you fell on your butt and you got up and walked again and the same thing happen and you did it again until you were successful. Starting over a divorce. This is Dr. Paul, author of Boomer Girls, a boomer woman's guide to men and dating and host of Ask Dr. Paul. Now you got to get up and start to walk again. You did it when you were a baby and you can do it now no matter what the problem was involve in that divorce. Starting over after divorce is easier done than said. People out there will say, "oh you poor thing". Male or female, gosh, you know, guy I know how you feel is, and you keep wallowing in that same mire, just over and over, don't go there. Start over, that's what it's all about, starting over, not wallowing in the past. You know, where have I've been, where am I now and where am I going? Shut that door, don't carry that baggage with you. It isn't necessary, nobody wants to hear about it. Don't let other people put you into that trick bag. It doesn't work. Starting over means exactly what it says. I know sometimes Dr. Paul can be a little bit tough, alright. I've been said, to be called the iron hand in the velvet glove. But let me tell you something, you have to be there away with yourself, you have to have the self-discipline. Get over it. It's a new beginning. You got an option, you got an opportunity.
