"My name is Anthony Maddaloni, and I'm going to talk about how to pose when you are not photogenic. Now, if you feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, or you just do not like having your picture taken, or you just know, that you just do not look good in pictures. And, there are some people that do not look good. I don't feel very comfortable in front of a camera. But these are things that I have to convince my subjects, and even myself at times. One of the main ways that I like to look at convincing someone, and this definitely includes me here. Is that, I am trying to make someone happy, by having my picture taken. Whether it is at an event, such as a wedding, a birthday party, something where maybe my mom, my dad, really wants a picture of me. And I have to at least look human, and not uncomfortable, upset in this picture. And I tell myself, by me just acting, sort of speak. Like, I love having my picture taken. I will actually be able to take a halfway decent picture. And I believe this is sorta true. So, when I'm taking images of someone, I let them know that they're doing and it might even be for a job. Something where your identity needs to be on a brochure, needs to be on a business card. And once you realize this is something you have to do, like, you know, this is what, this is what is required of you. It, it makes it a little bit, a little bit easier. The other way to make yourself more photogenic, is, understand the way a camera is. I don't like having a big piece of metal pointed at me. But if I hold the camera and understand, it's just a tool. Just, you know, inanimate object, so to speak. Makes me feel a little bit better about it. And, those are some ways that you can make yourself more photogenic."
