"My name is Anthony Maddaloni. I'm going to talk about comparing digital cameras and talk about comparing Panasonic cameras to Sony cameras. One of the first things I do when I'm going to buy a camera is that I do research. It's sort of an important thing to do when you're making an investment in a digital camera. I will look on certain websites to see reviews. A good website I like to use is photo.net, just an example of a website I'll go to and I will read about these cameras and see what are the main differences as compared to what I want to use this camera for. That's a really important thing to remember. Secondly, I'm going to look at, you know I tend to side with Sony cameras here. I like their technology; they're incredibly, they have a nice chip. They're really marketing a high end chip right now. Whereas Panasonic, they're nice cameras too. I've heard good things about them, but I tend to lean towards Sony. Now that's just me. Now what I like might not mean what you like, and I as an educator and as a photographer, always keep that in mind, that just because I like something doesn't mean that my best friend is going to like it too. So I'm going to try to look at both those cameras and then I'm going to look at images made with both those cameras. And that's sort of what I'm going to compare, and I'm going to be really patient. Any time you're buying something, patience is your friend. If you encounter a situation where you, yourself, feel that you have to buy it, that day, that's when you need to walk away and think about why, and then come back the next day. So that's how I would compare Sony. Panasonic is a good camera. I find that, you know, it handles a little bit, just a little bit, I think I don't know, not as professional as a Sony camera is. And that's how I would compare Sony versus Panasonic digital cameras."
