"As men, we've all been there. You're out for a good night on the town with a buddy's, having a few drinks and enjoying yourself, then you see that knockout blond across the way. But you don't quite know how to approach her. My name's Micah and I'm going to tell you how to pick up a girl in a bar. As a bartender I often see guys making the same mistakes over and over. You don't want to come in too strong. When you first start meeting somebody and begin conversation you want to keep things light. Very, very casual small talk perhaps about sports game, what's going on on TV, something in the news, something very light. Nothing depressing. Don't come on too strong and don't show your interest. Don't be over eager. Be casual, be friendly, be approachable. Second thing, don't just talk about yourself. You're probably not all that interesting to her seeing that she just met you. Listening is the key when it comes to picking up women especially in a bar. They probably want to tell you all about themselves and will appreciate when you take the patience and the time to sit there and listen. Third, you're going to want to buy her a drink but not in a creepy way. Don't send it from all the way across the bar and then never approach her. Perhaps you can send it to her and then come up and start a conversation. Drinks a great ice breaker a way to get in there. At least she'll say thank you and that's a start.
