"So you want to be one of those party animals that are always on the scene, always out and about everywhere you go, they seem to pop up and having a good time. My name is Micah and I'm going to give you some strategies for surviving the bar scene. Now if you are a regular partier there's a few things you need to do to make sure your partying stays fun and stays safe. And to make sure that you are welcome where ever you go. First and foremost be friendly. Nobody likes a jerk. So you always have to treat people nicely. They will usually respond in kind. Along with that very important, to become friends with your bartenders. If you are always out on the bar scene hopping around to different bars, they will help you out at the end of the night when you pay your bill and also they will give you better drinks. Be friendly, tip well, be friendly to everybody. Second thing be sure to take care of yourself before you go out. Be well fed be well hydrated, be well rested. Don't go out if you are angry or upset, nobody likes to be around somebody who's morose or moody or just plain no fun. And it's not going to be fun for you if you feel ill because you didn't take care of yourself physically. At the end of the night, you also want to take care of yourself. Drink some water, take some vitamin B or some aspirin. Prevent the hangover. Be ready for tomorrow's party. Couple of other things. Don't drink too much. You will not be welcomed in any establishment if you drink too much and make a fool out of yourself. Nothing pisses me off more as a bartender then when a sloppy drunk person starts acting out in my bar, comes in the next day and thinks everything is fine. If you have an episode where you drink too much and you may have offended somebody be sure to apologize for it. Tip your bartender extra next time to make up for your inappropriateness or what have you. But most importantly take care of yourself, take care of the people around you , take care of the people that take care of you. My name is Micah and that's how to survive the bar scene."
