"Do you ever look at your wine glasses and wonder just why they can't get clean? My name is Micah and I'm going to show you how to properly clean a wine glass. Now wine glasses are one of the hardest glasses to clean as a bartender or just as someone at home. They are oddly shaped and most dishwashers, even by hand you cannot get in to the areas that you need to, namely the bowl and a lot of attention isn't paid to the rim. Now the rim is the biggest offender to the bartender, ladies who drink wine wear lipstick and their lipstick comes with a fatty material which is oily and it stays on the rim long after they have drank it even through a wash, water doesn't count. What you need to do to really get your wine glasses completely clean and get all these water marks off as well after they dry, take a dry rag or it could be slightly damp and go around the edge outside, get all those hard water spots off and take the same rag, reach inside gently because wine glasses are fragile, wipe around the bowl and then last but certainly not least the rim where you will find most of the remnants of people who have drunk before you. You want to get real good around there and if you are crazy about germs you can give it a quick rinse in some cold water and shake it off and dry it and pour your wine and enjoy. Again my name is Micah and that is how you properly clean an wine glass."
