"Hi I'm Tim Gipson and I'm going to talk to you about how to clean paint from the carpet. So if you are painting the walls and you happen to make a little mess up and spill some on the carpet, no need to fret. I'm going to show you some simple easy steps that you can go through to remove that paint. So you can see right here in our sample carpet here, got a little white paint, first thing that you want to do is you want to take a clean white rag and you want to blot this area. It's very important not to rub here cause you can mess up the fibers in your carpet. So you simply want to blot. And so we are going to go through this process and try to get up as much as that wet paint as you can. So you can see already just by doing this we get up a lot of that surface paint. Then you are just going to be left with some residual. So the next step you want to go to is you want to go to a sponge. And again we are just, some little bit of clean water in that sponge you want to blot the area. Try to pull that paint. You can see on the sponge here you can see just by blotting it, it will pull that paint out of the carpet. So as we go through those two processes, we get as much of the paint out through the white rag and the sponge, the next one you'll do, is you want to take a cup of warm water and you want to mix a teaspoon of dish washing detergent in this. And then we can dip that sponge in there and then with the dish washing detergent you want to continue to blot that area. And you want to turn your sponge off as we continue to work this and to pull that paint out. And just you know rearrange the sponge occasionally and you want to continue this process and eventually you are going to get to the point where you see very little beige. You should be able to get this back just by blotting it and continue to work it where you can't see that paint anymore. Now once you get to that point and you've done all these, these steps you want to just let this dry very thoroughly. And then you'll just need to come back and vacuum, go over that with a vacuum. And if you follow all those steps you should be able to get even some of the darkest color paints you should be able to clean that out of your carpet. I'm Tim Gipson and that's how to clean paint from your carpet."
