"Hi, if you're a Massage Therapist and you have to move out of state, away from where you got certified, some issues may come up and if you're curious about them, I can help you figure them out. I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae. Now, according to what state you got certified in, you're going to have the amount of hours necessary to hold certification in that state, of course. Well, if you move out of the state into another state that has a different amount of hours required, you're going to have a problem. It's best to actually, just to be prepared, do your research before you move and make sure you have enough time to make up those hours. And, of course, making up those hours means you've got to go back to school. You've got to find a massage therapy program, and a school around the area that you're going to be, and you've got to put in the time again, just like back when you were a student. You've got to make up those hours, so that you can get certified in that state. Now, sometimes you won't have a problem, because some states are considered reciprocal, like brother/sister states, and require the same number of hours. But, then again some don't. So, you want to make sure before you move or before anything happens, you don't want to be waiting to, you don't want to lose money just waiting to take your class. You want to do all of that ahead of time. Do your research and be prepared, because all of that is money out the door. So, like I said if you have to move out of the state where you got certified in, do your research as soon as you can and get moving on it. That's the best way to make a smooth transition from state to state and make sure that your certification doesn't lapse. I'm Sundae, with Natural Sundae. Thanks for being here!"
