"Hi there I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae with a couple tips on how to choose the best continuing education course. Now massage therapists are always being challenged. Every four years we need 48 CEU's which are 48 hours of instruction which keeps us on our toes and makes us the best therapist that we can be and there are so many to choose from that sometimes it gets confusing and so these are a couple of tips on what to think about when you are choosing your CEU course. Now the first challenge and the most important one to me is to challenge yourself. In my opinion if you are not challenging yourself and if you are just sort of staying the same and not learning anything different from day to day you are just taking up space especially as a therapist and your job is to help people. You want to challenge yourself, you don't just want to take the CEU course that would be easiest and one that you can just run through so that you can get your hours. You really want to learn something to make yourself valuable to the clients and to the industry. The second thing to think about is research the instructor's training and credentials. You really want to get the most bang for your buck. You want to learn the most and you want to make sure that your instructors know what they are talking about which is really important. The third thing is compare the syllabus and cost because a lot, there are a lot of different training types out there and you want to compare the syllabus and make sure it is as comprehensive as possible and make sure that you are paying for it too. Make sure that you compare your costs and your curriculum. Make sure you are getting the most education for what you are paying for. So those are just three really important things to me that I choose. Challenge yourself and pick something interesting and valuable. Research your instructors and compare the syllabus and costs. I hope you have learned a little bit today about how to choose a CEU course. I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae."
