How to Trim Necklines

"Hi I'm Amelia and I'm going to talk to you about how to trim a neckline. When trimming a neckline, you always want to take into consideration the person's natural neckline. You don't want to cut up into their hairline or you are going to constantly have to be trimming that. So with this neckline here it's sort of comes down into a little bit of a point. We can take that off to block off the neckline cause you can always fade this up just a little bit. And then you also want to make sure that you get behind the ears and come down. And you want a nice angle here. So this hair down here, is what really needs to be taken off. So we're just going to take this hair off and just make a nice sharp line, and angle all the way around and all the way around the hair. And I'm going to take this around to the other side, and then behind the ears, I'm just going to come up with this part of the edgers, the little part that's sticks out and I'm just going to follow his hairline around and be very, try to hold your hand as still as possible because you can sometimes cut up into the hairline. So you just want to hold your hand as still as possible and go all the way around the ear. And follow that around. So when trimming up a neckline just make sure that you keep into consideration their natural neckline, and you want to make nice sharp angles and don't cut into their hairline. And that's how you trim a neckline."
