"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm going to talk to you about different ways to style your short hair. Short hair is actually a lot more versatile than people think. Unless it's like an inch all over you can really do quite a bit with it. Once the back begins to get a little bit long you can simply just spike it out a little bit, help it to stick out more like this. And then, once if if the sides are a decent length you can actually pull them back and give the illusion that it's longer than it is. So, just by pulling the sides back you can give that illusion like you've got a little updo, and you can have like some little pieces sticking up. You can curl one side or you can actually put curls all in it and make it real curly, and that'll be another way, something else that you can do to add interest. Also, if your hair, hair grows about a half inch a month, so if you just simply wanted to grow your bangs out to give yourself a different look you could do that. So just simply, every six to eight weeks you could have a different look just by letting it grow and cutting certain pieces and not cutting others. Just remember to have a lot of versatility and be very flexible with short hair, and have fun with it. Because it's short, you can also do a lot of funky colors to it because the grow out will be a lot a lot less painful than it would be on long hair. So have fun, and enjoy your short hair. It's very versatile."

on 1/26/2009 Great video. Just recently went short. Kinda like a cut you have in this video. Was wondering what to use to get my hair to spike out.
