"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm going to show you about using diffusers on straight hair. I would not necessarily use a diffuser to straighten hair, but you can use one on straight hair, and it's great if you are trying to hold a style without blowing the hair out because basically what a diffuser does is it diffuses the air that comes out of the dryer. The air that comes out of a dryer comes out in a straight jet. So, and when you're drying your hair, sometimes you can lose control over the hair and how it and where it's going. So, if you have a diffuser on it, then what that's going to do is that's going to allow less hair to hit one spot or I mean, I'm sorry, rather less air to hit one spot. So, you would just simply use this kind of like a comb if you wanted to, and just sort of run it down the hair. Another thing you can go with this is if you've got straight hair, but you want to get a little bit more wave into it, you can also use it; just sort of twist it around, add the heat, and that's also going to set it and cause it to have a little bit more waves. You'll actually be putting some shape into the straight hair. And those are some ways that you can use a diffuser with straight hair."
