"Hi I'm Amelia and I'm going to give you some tips for dry and damaged hair. If your hair has been damaged by color then you really need to add more protein back into the hair, because those protein bonds have been broken. Same thing for if your hair has been damaged by a body wave or a perm or even a relaxer. So a protein base reconstructer is a great thing to use, probably about once a week. And I would use this once a week and then if your hair starts to ever feel dry and brittle after that, that's when you start adding moisture. So you can even switch on and off. Like one week do protein, next week do moisture or even one day do protein and then in a couple of days you could do moisture. So the two together balance each other out. You also want to make sure that you are using a good quality reconstructing shampoo. I've got Kpack here in my hands and a couple of others are the extreme line by Redkin, that's excellent. That's protein based. If you are looking more for moisture, you can use the all soft or the smooth down. Now the difference between dry and damaged hair is damaged hair is actually, you'll see breakage, you'll see the hair it tends to have a lot more stretch when it's wet. And dry hair just feels dry that's more of a cosmetic issue. And that is where you need moisture. Damaged you need protein. I would definitely go to my nearest designer and that you trust and talk to them about ways to keep your hair healthy, and whether your hair is dry or damaged."
