"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you some ways to straighten frizzy hair. I always recommend using some sort of product that's got silicone in it, you're looking for words like cyclomethicone, dymethacone, trimethacone, anything like that. This is a straightening spray, you would just lightly spray this on the hair, and then you can blow dry it or you could even just start to flat iron. Her hair is already dry so we're just going to flat iron it from here. So I'm just going to take a section of hair and I like a flat iron because it really does smooth out that cuticle and get it nice and flat. So you're going to want to just run that flat iron right down that hair shaft. Gets it nice and shiny because the difference between frizzy hair and straight hair or hair that is not frizzy, is it's the amount of shine. If you notice, curly, frizzy hair sometimes does not have a real shine to it, because that cuticle is not nice and flat, it's more raised. So you're just going to go through that, the rest of the head. Another thing you're going to want to do possibly is at the end use a glossing cream, or something that's going to add more shine to it. What that's going to do is actually stuff up that hair shaft so that frizz won't come back in. Something like the anti frizz line by John Frieda works wonders, and just make sure because sometimes it can be a little bit on the heavy side. But, your flat iron, looking for silicone based products, all of those things will help you prevent or straighten your frizzy hair."
