"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm going to show you how to tease your hair without damaging. I do not recommend teasing if you have a lot of breakage, or if your hair is very, very damaged and fine because that can cause even more breakage. So, that would damage it. I also recommend that if your hair is kind of on the gentle side, you got to be gentle with it. If you're going to tease, you're just going to want to slightly tap it. One, two, three, and then that's going to be it. So, you're not going to get quite the volume, but with damaged hair, damaged hair does tend to kind of hold styles a little bit better than fresh virgin hair. So, to not damage hair, you don't want to be really rough with it. You don't want to grab it and just grip through it. You want to lightly tease it, and then you would lightly comb over the front. And if you're doing a lot of teasing, you're also not going to want to just brush through it. When you're trying to get that teasing out, you're just going to kind of want to either use a comb or a brush and just lightly kind of comb that teasing out. Because in all intends and purposes, what you're making is a knot. So, you don't want to just rip through that knot or you'll have a lot of breakage and damage. And that's how you can tease your hair without damaging it."
