"Hello everyone, this is Chris Markowski, president of Markowski Investments and host of the nationally syndicated Watchdog on Wall Street radio show, here to talk about investing in a 401 K. It perplexes, it bewilders me, and it should bother most Americans that you know how many billions of dollars, that's with b-b-b-billions of dollars, Americans throw away every single year by not participating in 401 K plans at work. I'm talking about billions of dollars in money that they're actual employer will contribute to their plan and they still don't do it! Not to mention the fact that you're getting all sorts of tax breaks or getting the deferral, all sorts of gains in your 401 K until you retire. It is a fantastic vehicle. You need to take advantage of everything that Uncle Sam has to offer you in regards to putting money away and saving, and a 401 K is an absolutely fantastic vehicle to do so. Even if you're a small business owner. Small business owners ask me all the time, well, I own a small business, how do I get to pay for a 401 K the whole set up thing? There's lots of 401 opportunities like individual 401 Ks where you can actually do it on your own and pay little to no fees, and actually save yourself a lot of money. Investing in a 401 K, if you have one at work, you better be involved. This is Chris Markowski, your watchdog on Wall Street."
