"Hi everyone, this is Chris Markowski, president of Markowski Investments, and host of the nationally syndicated Watchdog on Wall Street radio show. Here to tell you how to invest in stocks. I'm going to try a different tact with this question, as well. How do you not invest in stocks, is the question. Taking a look at the performance of the stock market over the "pa", let's go back to eighteen hundred. I was actually taking a look at a really interesting chart, put together by Professor Jeremy Siegel, from the University of Pennsylvania. And the performance of various different asset classes over time. And to see how stocks performed against gold, bonds, the dollar, you name it. How does one not go about investing in the stock market? Well, when you get a little on, a little bit later on in life, you're going to want to start paring down your portfolio, and going into more dividend, yielding, bond types of things. Because you need to live off that money. But, how does one invest in stocks? Well, I'd say get yourself a financial planner. Get your financial plan done, and with every change in life, whether you have kids, you get married, you switch jobs, you get a raise, your financial plan is going to change. All these factors are going to change, completely new different world, and you have to consult again. So, how does one invest in stocks? I would say pretty much always. This is Chris Markowski, your watchdog on Wall Street."
