"Hi, everyone. This is Chris Markowski, President of Markowski Investments and host of the nationally syndicated Watchdog on Wall Street radio show, here to tell you how to buy stocks. Well, I don't know if I should actually tell you how to go about doing it, but it's no real big secret. You've seen the commercials on TV. You got Sam Waterson trying to convince you to do it one way. You got Charles Schwab trying to do it another way. Plenty of different ways to buy stocks, but one of the ways I...one of the things I want to hit upon in this segment is actually how you have to go about paying for it. There's something in our industry it's called T 3, trade plus three. You have three business days...if you go out there and you open up an account and there's no money in that account, you actually have three business days to actually put money into the account. That's outside the fact if it's a margin account. A margin account is something where you actually borrow money, and you have to put 50 percent up, to purchase your securities. Make sure you abide by that T 3, and any time you're buying or selling stocks -- whatever it may be -- please be careful and please make sure it's in-line with your goals and your dreams and your entire financial plan. This is Chris Markowski, your watchdog on Wall Street."
