"Hi, this is Laura Turner, and today, we're going to talk about how to calculate your due date. So, you found out that you're pregnant, and you'd like to know when you're going to have the baby. Congratulations, and get together with your partner to determine a possible conception date. This is probably going to be pretty hard for you to figure out, but if you can get in the ballpark area of this conception date it will really help you to start calculating it, your due date. And then, also think about the first day of your last period, and actually write that date down as well, because you're going to need it when you get out your calendar. So, when you get your calendar out you're going to actually count two hundred and eighty days from the first day of your last period, so circle that date. And then, count two hundred and sixty six days from the date that you came up with, the conception date, and circle that date. And now, what you'll do is you'll actually split the difference between the two dates and that will give you a pretty good idea of your due date. Also, what you can do is you can come up with this date, and then you can take it to your doctor, and give the other dates that you came up with to your doctor and he can, or he or she can figure out your due date for you; give you a second opinion, or you can actually go on online and go to many different web calculators for your due date, and put in that information so you don't actually have to count on the calendar; though that sounds actually like it would be a lot of fun to sort of actually count out all those days. So, good luck calculating your due date, and hopefully, you will be just about on time with it."
