"Hi, this is Laura Turner, and today, I want to talk to you about taking college courses. Of course, the very first thing you have to do, in order to take your college courses, to get accepted into the college of your preference, so go ahead and apply for college. Get accepted, and start signing up for classes. The next thing you're going to want to do, is you're going to sort of talk with your adviser about what classes you are required to take. Make sure that you fulfill all of your required courses for your degree, before you start taking your elective courses, which are going to be the courses that are outside of those required courses. Also, you're going to want to pick your major. Whenever you pick your major in college, you're going to take all the courses that are required of that major, so again, we've got required courses for the college, required courses for the major, and electives, that are outside of both of these areas. Next, you're going to want to take courses from professors who are not only popular in the university, but who are renowned for being good professors, and finally, take courses that will challenge you, but not courses that will challenge you so much, that you know you will fail, whenever you take them. A very important thing in choosing college courses, is to push yourself, but not push yourself too much, so that your GPA really starts to suffer, and those are just some tips for taking college courses."
