"Hi, this is Laura Turner. And today, I'm going to talk to you about how to use screen writing software. The format for screenplays is a little involved. So you're probably, when you first start out, at least going to want to actually use one of these programs. To help you write your screenplay. What you can, some programs you can download. And you can buy of course, are Final Draft and CELTX. Those are some good ones for you to actually go and find on-line. You're good to purchase or download. The program, the reason why this screen writing software is so important. Is that the program will actually help you format. All of your little things that you need to format. The program like Final Draft will actually tell you where your dialog is supposed to go. And where like, an example that I have here. Nicely formatted screenplay. Where your headings for your scenes will go. Like the interior of the dinning room, continuous. And of course, how these, how the dialog is formatted in the middle of the page here. Make sure that you can sort of, deal with the program that does it all for you. It's not particularly my style to want to use a program that formats for me. Because whenever yo get into Final Draft. You'll notice that it's going to do things for you. That you might not want it to do. So it's going to slow down your writing process. If you don't know how to use it. So you're going to want to actually, you know, go through Final Draft. And figure out, how to use it, completely. Before you start using it. Because you're going to run into problems. If you just start using it, without knowing everything there is to know about it. So think about you know, why do you need this program? Can you just learn how to format it, on your own. Without the help of a computer that's probably going to make some errors. In places that you wouldn't want it to be made."
