"Have you heard that you can lighten your skin at home using lemons? Well it's true. My name is Keeley Selvage with "Keeley's Skin Solutions" and I'm going to show you how to lighten the skin at home using lemons. What you want to do is start with fresh clean skin and wash and rinse your face twice and make sure you get off all that dirt and residue then you want a cut of lemon, fresh is best and you just want to take your lemon slice and you are going to want to rub it over the entire face like this. You might get little lemon peels, that's o'kay and just rub it in and make sure you get a good coat. It's not going to hurt if you over lap it a little bit and keep going over one area that's not going to hurt it. The reason this works is because lemons are a natural fruit acid which is going to exfoliate the skin and it's going to also have a natural bleaching effect. So it is going to lighten the skin. I would do this twice a week and let the lemon stay on there for 5 to 10 minutes or as long as you can stand it and you are going to feel a tightening effect maybe even a little bit of tingling or itching which is all good. That's what you want when you are using the lemons on the skin. After that you can wipe it off with a wash cloth and you can rinse it. Splash some cool water on your face and then you want to apply a moisturizer to protect the skin after that. My name is Keeley Selvage with "Keeley Skin Solutions" and that is how you lighten the skin using lemons."
