"Hi, I'm Patti German and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist here in New York City. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to host a romantic evening at home. Romantic evenings are very, very special for two people in a relationship. One of the most important parts of course, is to perhaps have some food to eat and allow for conversation to flow. I think the romance of a relationship is really being able to talk from your heart to your partner. And a romantic evening could be no TV, no computers, and just sitting and talking and hearing what each other has to say so that you can feel closer and talk from your hearts. A romantic-- a romance is about understanding what another person is feeling and thinking and helping each other feel very safe and comfortable. And that will lead to really staying close and having a very enjoyable evening together. So again, a romantic evening is about opening up and talking to each other; about your day, about your feelings about things, about ideas, plans and the future. Again, this is Patti German in New York City."
