It's very, very daunting to not know who to go to when your relationship is in trouble. I highly recommend that you go to a website called the American Association for Marriage and Therapists. And in this website you can find a therapist in your zip code in your area and read through the bios and the qualifications. I think it's very, very important that you work with someone who is trained as a marriage and family therapist. Knowing what a relationship is about, and marriage and family therapists are trained to work with more than one person in the room, so it's very important that you look up the AAMFT and find a marriage counselor in your zip code.
