Hello, my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk about how to deal with infidelity. Infidelity is one of the most serious issues that a relationship can face, that a couple can face together. And it is always worth asking why the infidelity took place. Was it something in your partners personality? Is it something that they can give up in their lives? Is it a relationship issue? Are they unhappy in the relationship? Is it a self control issue? Do they have a difficulty committing? All of these issues need to be explored, mainly though, it is important to have this issue out in the open. Try to discuss it with your partner, confront them, tell them that you know about the problem and tell them what you want to do about it. Do you want to solve it? Do you want it to end the relationship? What kind of solutions do you see? What kind of solutions does your partner see? Have a discussion about it but, remember infidelity is very very serious issue and you may need professional help and advice in order to be able to get through this difficult situation.
