"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay, I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk to you about how to stop nagging your husband. Nagging is a very, very annoying behavior that probably gets on the nerves of most men and many women do it, not on purpose, not because we want to annoy our husbands, but because we ask for something and then it simply doesn't get done. Now, how do you deal with this situation? Let's sit down and talk to our husbands about why we need to nag. Obviously something that we asked for is not happening. So we need to sit down and talk about why our requests were not being respected. It is important to find out whether it is realistic to expect our husband to fulfill that request that we keep nagging about; is it something the toilet seat, is it something about finances, is it something about any other household chore? In that case we should probably sit down and discuss the whole entire system of family chores, see who does what, try to come to a mutual agreement that everybody agrees to about how things need to be done and how often they need to be done. And if you can come to a mutual agreement that your husband also agrees to, try not to be too nit-picky about it. If he cleans the kitchen but forgets to wipe the sink, in the grand scheme of things it's not worth nagging about."
