"Hello, my name is Reka Morvay, and I'm going to talk to you about how to cuddle with your partner. Now, cuddling is one of those things that should come naturally, but in case it doesn't it might have various causes rooted in your childhood, or maybe in your family it wasn't the norm, it wasn't the custom. Or, maybe it wasn't the custom in your spouse's family to cuddle and to be physically affectionate with each other. The first thing to find out is how your spouse likes to be physically affectionate, how and whether they like to cuddle at all. Some people are more physically affectionate than others, and some people have a higher need for it than others, so find out. Try to sidle up close to your partner and find out what kind of physical affection, what kind of touch, what kind of petting they enjoy. Maybe they just like to sit near you and as you watch a movie, or each of you read a book. Maybe they like closer contact, holding hands or giving hugs. Maybe they like actual full frontal big bear hugs. And the main thing is to find out what your partner likes, because all of us are individuals, and everybody likes something different. When you've found out what you partner likes the next step is to find out in what situations they enjoy cuddling. Perhaps they like cuddling as you cuddle up to see a movie. Maybe they like cuddling in bed just before they fall asleep. May they, maybe they like cuddling for no reason at all, just as part of your everyday lives. It is always, always very important to find out what your partner likes, and how they like it, and when they like it, and try to do it then in the way that they like."
